Flowers budding;
Blooming incandescence.
Colours scream toward the sky.
Fingers reach out to touch
Another leaf
Another branch
Another addition to this
Sweet romance.
BOOM! SKREEEEEEEEE!
CRASH!
"FIRE!"
Sirens wail outside my house, screaming in through the windows my parents left open this morning. I jump over to the back of the couch when I hear this, pulling back the curtains so I can get a better look at what's going on: people are running through the streets, some coughing doubling over and with hands cupped, hovering over their mouths and others crawling along the ground as they try to escape the cloud of smoke that has formed over our block.
"What the hell?!"
I leap off of the couch now and sprint to the door, wrenching it open with the full strength of my arm. It smacks against th
You cry to me,
Cry for me,
Touch me, love me,
Cut me open...
Say my name...
Eyes covered by lids,
Irises lightened, whitened
By death so kind.
Lips chapped,
Broken,
But still they open,
Still they cry to me.
They say to me,
Cut me open...
They move elegantly,
So sweetly,
Calling to me.
Screaming for me.
As my eyes brush over you, I almost want to smile, to remember those old days when we were such good friends. Of course, as I start to remember you and the so-called safety that you gave me, that feeling goes away. Suddenly all I can recall is your mangled hands twisting my body, contorting my mind... holding me tight in your cold grasp squeezing the life out of me.
All I wanted was security.
All I wanted was to feel something.
I thought that was what you gave me. I thought it would be ok... but I was wrong.
You took it away. You stole from me - you lied to me. You told me it was all going to be alright, but instead you - like ever

Something sweet, while my
Memories are wiped away with a single blushing grin.
In those crinkled eyes my own face is recognized with
Love.
Everyone should know.
Smile.
No matter who you are.
Blinded by the light -
Wanting more,
Needing it by the hour.
No matter where you are,
If you are pulled in,
There is no way out.
There is no wanting out.
No matter what you are,
It's the same thing over again.
The same treacherous joke,
The same voice laughing behind the scenes.
No matter how strong you are,
As long as He keeps chasing you,
There will always be that voice in the back of your mind.
Run away ignore push.
Those you love will flee
Those you want will perish
Those you need will turn away.
Those who needed you will fall.
Nothing but a useless statue now,
You rust i
"How are you feeling today?"
"Fine."
"Only fine?"
"I'm great."
"That's good. Keep looking at me don't look away... good... What did you do today?"
"I went to school "
"Yes. What did you learn there?"
"I learned about families... different types of families. Families that have fallen apart... families that have... stuck together."
"Oh? And what kind of family do you have?"
"... I don't have one."
"Why do you say that?"
"... I don't know..."
"Raya... aren't I your father?"
"Yes..."
"So you have family."
"No..."
"Again, why not?"
"Families... love..."
"I see. Don't you love me?"
"... I..."
"Raya? Don't you love yo
Flipping,
Falling,
You tear through the sky.
Twirling,
Trailing,
They all ask you why.
Dancing,
Diving,
Down from so high.
Swiftly,
Silently
A spark in their eyes.
Dragging,
Dropping,
Your dreams now are nigh.
Toppling,
Twisting,
Your allies speed by.
Falt'ring,
Flound'ring,
Your strength is now dry.
Softly,
Slowly,
Your remnants will fly.
Something sweet, while my
Memories are wiped away with a single blushing grin.

Love.
